Don't question the Patriotism of the left
Recently, a poll comparing the level of tragedy felt on 11 September 2001 versus that of 3 November 2004 made waves around the internet. Since the election last week, many of the American left have begun talk of fleeing the country or of actually attempting to secede the "blue" states into some union with Canada. We've also seen numerous posts from the left indicating that they are happy when US troops and Marines die in Iraq and/or Afghanistan, as well as the incoherent ramblings of Michael Moore saying essentially the same. In addition to all that, the Democrat party nominated for President a man who could legitimately be tried for treason, and who likely was initially discharged from the US Navy under less than honorary conditions.
If that weren't enough to persuade make you want to question the patriotism of a faction of Americans, perhaps this will. 9/11 was the fault of the United States, and we are to blame for the unfortunate deaths in New York and Washington, according to a project funded by Dickinson College in Pennsylvania.
