A failed war

I'm very angry with the President and his choice to go to war. First of all, he failed to get UN approval. Not only that, but there was no "official" war declaration passed by the United States Congress. Halliburton was awarded no-bid contracts to perform work along side and instead of US military personnel. Our troops found no WMD in country. The war effort had nothing to do with American homeland security. It's become a quagmire with no viable exit strategy, and we're having difficulty "winning the peace". We were wrong to get involved, but if we pull out, the continuation of a long, historical civil war is likely.
