The John Kerry voting record

In the words of a local radio show host here where I live, here is some clarification on Kerry's dismal record of 20 years in the United States Senate.

We at *** like to get the facts straight; it's much easier than

remembering a bunch of lies. In the last debate, President Bush said John
Kerry passed five bills in 19 years in the Senate, and Kerry claimed he'd
written 56. Turns out the actual number depends on whether you count
non-binding resolutions and bills not passed. Kerry passed two bills to
designate "World Population Awareness Weeks," (that's focus on the big
picture) bills to rename a federal building and to change the name of the
Committee on Small Business to the "Committee on Small Business and
Entrepreneurship,"("Small Business and Entrepreneurship"...Isn't that
redundant?) and a resolution to recognize the accomplishments of Louis J.
Shattuck, retiring president of the Smaller Business Association of New
England. Don't worry, he does have plans to fix the economy and defeat
terrorism, but they were too good to waste on the Senate.

Here is the truth.
