The sanctions against Saddam

Even the San Francisco Chronicle has been unable to avoid the truth about the Doelfer report and Saddam Hussein. John Kerry's position on Iraq is that we should have continued to rely on inspectors to contain Saddam Hussein. Unfortunately, the UN and Saddam were in cahoots via the 'Oil for Food' scandal, and it's now clear that eventually, the UN would have lifted sanctions and Saddam would have been free to go back to his WMD programs. Any chance Peter Jennings will tell us about any of this during the next 3 weeks? I won't be holding my breath...
